AISWA Libraries Membership is available to all who are employed in an independent school or college. Individual membership is also available for teacher/librarians not attached to a particular school, and for students training to become teacher/librarians.

AISWA Libraries provides networking opportunities for its members, publishes Newsletters, holds public meetings and organizes conferences, seminars and Professional Learning workshops. We liaise with and lobby employer groups and other organisations as needed.

We administer the Jean Rhodes Memorial Award for Excellence, which recognises the exemplary work of a colleague in the library field in an independent school or college. We rely on the support and assistance of all those employed in independent school libraries. Please consider joining us.
