and popular conference opening.is the book launch which this
year will be held at the Fremantle
Children's Literature Centre on Friday, 16th June.
A showcase of Western Australian authors Raewyn Caisley, Julia
Lawrinson and Anthony Eaton will be there to speak to us
Also, view the exhibits of Pete the Sheep (Jackie French
and Bruce Whatley), The Bubble (Matt Ottley and Josie Montano),
and The Little Penguin (Matt Ottley and Josie Montano. |

| Bus Tours |
Two bus tours to schools and bookshops have
been organised to set off after the Book Launch on Friday,
16th June. |

The bus tours are an opportunity to consider -
- library layouts and furnishings
- displays and other promotional activities
- staffing, timetable etc.
- innovative uses of technology
- reading enrichment initiatives
- information literacy programmes

The Fremantle Children's
Literature Centre is situated on the corner of Knutsford
St and Hampton Rd., Fremantle. There are a few Council Car
parks in the vicinity of the centre and all day parking is
available in one of the carparks.
